GOOD QUESTIONS. STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

BEFORE WE
MAKE IMPACT.

Working together, from the first idea to the final files. Here’s what you should know.

01 / FAQ

GETTING STARTED.

An idea is enough to start the conversation.

01What can we work on together?

Brand identities and logos, packaging and print, digital design, social media, and creative direction. Whether you need one piece or a whole visual world, tell me what you’re building and where you want it to go.

02Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. Bring the problem, the ambition, or the thing that isn’t working. A clear direction can come out of the conversation. You don’t need a perfect brief or design vocabulary to get started.

03Can you work with my existing brand?

Yes. Send over what you already have and what you want to change. We can talk through a focused update, new materials within your current identity, or a bigger rethink. The goal is to keep what works and make the rest work harder.

04What should I send with my inquiry?

A little about your business, who you’re trying to reach, what you need, your budget range, and any important dates. Existing brand files and a few references are helpful too. If some of that is still up in the air, say so.

05How do I get started?

Head to Contact or email jake@kowskii.co with a little about your project. I typically respond within 1–2 business days. From there, we can work out the right next step.

02 / FAQ

THE WORK. THE DETAILS.

Clear expectations before the first concept.

01How much does a project cost?

It depends on what we’re making, how much is involved, and where it needs to be used. Share your goals and budget range so we can talk through a scope that makes sense. Pricing and deliverables are agreed before the work begins.

02How long will it take?

A single design and a complete brand identity need different schedules. The timeline depends on the scope, available content, feedback, and my availability. Let me know your launch date up front so we can work out what’s realistic.

03What does the design process look like?

First, we get clear on the goal and the people we need to reach. Then comes creative direction, design, feedback, and refinement. The final step is preparing the agreed deliverables for the places they need to show up.

04How do revisions work?

Feedback is part of getting the work right. The revision rounds and what they cover are agreed for your project before we start. If a new direction or extra deliverable comes up, we’ll discuss its effect on the scope, price, and timing first.

05Do I need to pay a deposit?

Payment timing, including any upfront payment, is set out in your project proposal. We’ll confirm the amount and schedule before booking the work, so you know what’s due and when.

06Can you take on a rush project?

Send the deadline and exactly what you need. I’ll review the scope and availability before confirming whether it’s possible, along with any changes to the price or deliverables. A tight deadline is always better mentioned at the start.

03 / FAQ

READY FOR THE REAL WORLD.

The details that matter when the work goes live.

01What files will I receive?

Your deliverables are matched to the project: that might mean logo files for print and digital, production-ready artwork, or graphics sized for your channels. We’ll confirm the formats and any editable files in the scope so the handoff fits how you’ll use the work.

02Will I own the final design?

Ownership and usage terms are set out in the project agreement. We’ll clarify what’s included in the final handoff and flag any separate requirements for fonts, photography, or other licensed assets before you use them.

03Is printing included?

Designing the artwork and producing the physical piece are separate parts of a project. Let me know the product, quantity, and printer requirements early. We’ll confirm whether any production coordination is included and account for printing costs separately.

04Can we keep working together after launch?

Absolutely—let’s talk about what you need next. Social content, campaign graphics, packaging updates, and creative direction can all build on the original work. Ongoing scope and availability are worked out around your needs.
